Weekly Illuminator Training

Once a week, running constellations come together at the foot of Bennachie. Runners from Insch Trail Runners, Donside Chainsaw Club, Cosmic Hillbashers and Garioch Gazelles join forces to test themselves against the slopes. The dark night trails of the hill allow an escape to the wilderness, away from traffic, away from noise, away from the stresses of daily life. Just the pool of head torch lights ahead.

Chasing up and down, and up again, they enjoy the freedom so close to home to push their personal boundaries and get ready for a summer of running trails across Aberdeenshire.
